A velomobile is definitely a non-starter!
Based on size, that larger box turtle was likely born in 2014. The earlier one is a newborn in the first few weeks of life.
Apparently scutes have growth rings, but they’re not an annual marker and counting doesn’t tell you very much; all I know is big turtles have survived against all odds.
If only their armor could withstand today’s assaults …
