In the midst of shaping the tip of another tweezer:

The jaws meet at the point, but those end bevels definitely need more attention!
All in all, a pleasant half hour of Quality Shop Time:

A pleasant half hour of shop time; mind if I ask how long it took you to document it for this blog entry? I’m constantly amazed by people who document so much of their lives. I wish I documented some of the more interesting projects I’ve done, but since I’m not in the habit, too late for most of those cool projects…
Cropping & tweaking the pix requires a few minutes apiece and that’s most of the effort. Once I have the pix ready, telling a short story might be another ten minutes or so. The longer series tend to be works-in-progress for a column: I think of those as the alpha version of the column, where I work out the details and get the references written down where I can find ’em again.
As with so many things, the more you do it, the less it hurts.
Oh, plenty of stuff goes on around here that doesn’t make the news. [grin]
