    Being able to read the entire post in my email is handy, but I feel like that reduces my visits to the real blog substantially.

      Back in the day, if the post had an manual excerpt, WordPress would send that instead of The Whole Thing. Recently they demoted excerpts, so maybe they now always send The Whole Thing.

      AFAICT I have no control over any of that and, to be honest, zero interest in trying to figure it out. Given that I pay them to not show any ads, there’s no money for me in the visitor count. :grin:
