Peeling a layer of the usual fuzz off the filter reveals the pollen:

This, too, shall pass and my eyes will rejoice.

Why are you vacuuming the driveway? 😉
An astonishing amount of pollen came from the floor of the interior hallway, with no windows or doors to the outside, a few days after Mary had applied the Real Vacuum to it.
Indeed, she was even biking with an N95 mask for a few days on the leading edge of the season.
Wait, you don’t? It would be the next step for my neighbor who runs his leaf blower nearly daily for sometimes hours, an often as early as 7:00am. I’m never quite sure if he is chasing a single leaf or blade of grass down the driveway or not. I often wonder if he even realizes he could just pick it up … or even just let it go, but that doesn’t work with OCD.
