Electric Heater Installation: What Not To Do

Found this installation in the Mens Room at the first rest area inside New York on westbound I-90. The extension cord trails out the window and around to the back of the building…

I suppose the building’s heaters had failed, but, still, this seems odd.

Are you familiar with ThereIFixedIt.com? I think this would be quite suitable for them. They’ve gotten really busy lately, once people realized that they could do dumb things and take pictures of them, rather than just taking pictures of stuff other people had done, but the heavy duty chrome plated wire nut is still one of my top five favorite pictures of all time.

Nope, but I can see how it’d be a real time sink… probably worse than the Navy safety website.

Just what I need: another time sink!
